This auction is for a very special and rare car. It is an authentic 1995 Corvette Indianapolis 500 Festival Car, 1 of 75 Chevrolet built for use during the festivities of the 1995 Indianapolis 500 race. It is sequence #128 (see pictures) which indicates it was the 28th car built for use at the track. This car is registered with the Pace Car Registry and its' VIN identifies it as being used by Dale Collins of Chevrolet during the race. It is a low mile example with only 4650 miles on the clock since new. Because of the low miles, the car is still very original with only the battery and oil filter having been replaced. It is in mint condition having been only used for car shows for the last 8 years. It has been well maintained during that time with all the service records and documents available to the new owner. All power options work as designed with no problems. It comes with an LT1 V8 300HP engine connected to a 4 speed automatic overdrive transmission. This car will get 30 MPG on the highway with no problem. The exterior paint is in excellent condition with just one very minor scratch on the hood too small to photograph. The paint scheme is 2 tone purple over white and the interior is also excellent and 2 tone black/purple leather. Additional pictures and a video is available upon request. This car has a clean title and a clean Carfax also available upon request. A car cover, battery tender, and race memorabilia all come with the purchase of this car.This car is available locally so I retain the right to end the auction early.
