2 arrested in Pott County Camaro theft - Topeka Capital Journal

The incident started around 4:44 a. m. when a resident in the Oak View area of St. George reported seeing the dome light come on inside a 2012 Chevrolet Camaro that the caller owned. Pottawatomie County Sheriff Greg Riat said when the caller went out to see what was going on, someone inside the Camaro drove it away. Riat said a Pottawatomie County sheriff’s deputy saw the Camaro “moments later” as it was being driven at a high rate of speed eastbound on US-24 highway. One suspect was taken into custody a short time later, while the second suspect was apprehended shortly before 8 a. m.
