CLEVELAND, Ohio – A Cleveland man was charged Wednesday with murder in the July shooting deaths of three people, including two relatives. Dalevon Artis, 22, was arrested July 22 following calls to police about a suspicious man. Days earlier police had discovered the bodies of Ky'Ara Artis, his cousin. According to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office, Artis died of a single gunshot wound to the head, and Johnson and Wortham were each shot multiple times. Court records say Artis also stole a 2007 Chevy Tahoe. The 23-count indictment charges Artis with aggravated murder, murder, aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery, kidnapping, felonious assault, having a weapon despite a prior conviction, improperly handling a weapon in a car, grand theft and petty... He was found guilty of aggravated menacing in 2014. He was sentenced to time served in jail in that case.
