Feature
- This is an AMP integration harness to retain the factory amplifier when replacing the factory radio with an aftermarket unit.
- This harness does NOT fit the connector on the factory radio.
- ONLY for aftermarket radio installations.
- Fits the Speaker/Power plug on the car side.
- RCA's plug into the aftermarket radio's pre-amp outputs.
- ALL PAC and Best Kits devices and hardware are designed to be compatible with Major-Brand radios. Non Major-Brand radios are not recommended.
Wire Harness for Installation of radios -Quick and Easy:
Yellow -is for the Memory and is always powered.
Red- is for the ignition, it becomes powered when you turn on your car.
Orange- is a dimming feature not always used.
Black- is the ground.
Connect the Blue wire w/ White stripe (turns on power antenna and /or AMP).
The 8 remaining wires are for speakers (Usually equipped w/ RCAs).
Step #1) RCA Plugs into (RCA output on Aftermarket Stereo).
Step #2) Connect Blue w/ White Stripe Wires together (to power factory amp).
