Two hurt in Saline County crash - The Southern
Two people suffered injuries after a single vehicle crash Saturday in Saline County, according to Illinois State Police. Kristen Lee Day, 27, of Carrier Mills was driving a 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser westbound in a passing lane on Illinois 13, about two miles east of Carrier Mills Road, when for unknown reasons, her vehicle left the roadway and onto the shoulder. Day was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. A 17-year-old passenger from Harrisburg was wearing a seatbelt and suffered minor injuries. ISP was assisted by Saline County Sheriff's Office, Harrisburg Police Department, Harrisburg Fire Department, Saline County Ambulance Service and Bishop Towing. Source: thesouthern.com
