LSU coach Les Miles returns to work after health scare - Shreveport Times

BATON ROUGE – LSU football coach Les Miles returned to his office at about 2 p. m. Monday and planned to be at his team’s 4 p. m. practice after being examined at a hospital when he felt ill at his office in the morning. “Obviously, Coach Miles is not here,” LSU athletic director Joe Alleva said at the podium in the athletic administration building, where Miles was not able to attend his usual game-week 12:30 p. m. Monday press conference. A Baton Rouge radio station reported Miles was suffering from a migraine headache. He will be at practice today, and he will be available to talk to you after practice. Miles is scheduled to hold a press conference at 6:45 p. m. Monday. Alleva said Miles drove himself to the hospital and back to work. LSU sports information director Michael Bonnette said Miles was at Our Lady of the Lake hospital in Baton Rouge. Miles was at LSU’s last practice before Monday, which was on Saturday. “That’s what kind of scared us. But they said he’ll be at practice this afternoon.
