Police find van involved in fatal hit-and-run one block away from scene - KLTV
Police have arrested the driver in Sunday's hit-and-run collision that caused the death of a five-year-old boy. The driver left the scene and police began looking for that unidentified driver. "We're looking for a gray minivan and a white female driver that reportedly hit the child," said Assistant Chief of the Kilgore Police Department, Roman Roberson. After following leads in the area, police recovered the Dodge Caravan on Florence Street in Kilgore, less than one block away from the scene of the crash. Roberson said leaving the scene of an accident that caused injuries is a felony in Texas. Hallsville police are responding to a wreck involving a train and a car.
