CPSO looking for Starks homicide victim's truck and side-by-side ATV - KPLC-TV

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office is searching for the truck, side-by-side ATV and trailer of the man found dead near Starks Thursday. The body of Jody L. Barlow, 33, was found in a remote area in the northwest corner of Calcasieu Parish around 10 a. m. Thursday morning. The body, which was was found by hunters, was near the Sabine River and about 2,000 yards from the Beauregard-Calcasieu line, Sheriff Tony Mancuso said. Mancuso said detectives are looking for Barlow's gray 2014 Dodge Ram 3500, with Texas tag DML1716, and Barlow's 2015 Polaris Ranger 900 XP side by side, which was on a tandem axle trailer. Mancuso declined to say whether there is a person of interest, but said that authorities have some good leads. Blake Brewer and State Trooper Steven Vincent were both shot over the weekend — authorities say Kevin Daigle killed Brewer, his roommate, then shot Vincent with the same sawed-off shotgun when Vincent found him stuck in a ditch in Brewer's truck. "This has been a very trying week for us," Mancuso said, thanking Beauregard Sheriff Ricky Moses for the help his office has provided in Barlow's death. Additionally, Gun Brothers, LLC announced on Facebook that it is taking donations to offer a reward "for the indictment or arrests of the person or persons involved" in Barlow's death.
