Lexus will begin testing “no-haggle” pricing at 12 of its dealerships across the country in 2016. The pilot program will run for a year for new and used cars and could potentially expand to more of the company’s dealerships. Used car dealer CarMax does it, while Lexus says a Toyota dealer in Phoenix, Ariz. State auto theft and vandalism claims high during summer: According to a new report from Farmers Insurance, California experiences the highest percentage of auto theft and vandalism claims in the country, particularly during the summer. The report analyzed Farmers Insurance claims from 2013 and 2014 and found that 38 percent of auto insurance claims in California in July, August and September involved vandalism or partial theft. California saw the most theft and vandalism-related claims of any state during that time period.
