Christian Bale to star as Enzo Ferrari in Michael Mann's upcoming biopic - Daily Mail
The movie will be set in the 1950s, when Enzo too was in his 50s, and will chart the rise of the Ferrari as a luxury vehicle. The race is now on between Bale and Robert De Niro, who also revealed earlier this year that he too was working on a film about Enzo Ferrari. The 72-year-old also played the lead in Mann's most famous film - Heat - 20 years ago. Mann is closely connected with the luxury Italian machine: he directed the 2008 promotional video for Ferrari's California sports car, and even used to race in the Ferrari Challenge, a competition exclusively for those wealthy enough to own one of...
