Locking gas caps : The cap is in the "locked" position when the top of the cap and bottom can be turned independently , it is in the "unlocked" position when the top and bottom turn as one.This cap DOES NOT fit diesel vehicles. All fram caps for diesel vehicles have a model number that ends in D (Ex: RG-501D).
