Roy airbrushed its hood with portraits of the main characters from the series’ original run: Dr. Leonard McCoy, Captain Kirk (alias Canada’s own William Shatner) and Spock. On one side of the van, the starship Enterprise shoots a hot phaser beam at a psychedelic moonscape. on the other, steely Mr. Spock embraces a bare-breasted Amazon of an alien. If Spock was hoping to boldly go where no Vulcan has gone before, the van’s interior, which includes a bed, was completely redone in lush red velvet. “I’m a Canadian musician with a crazy idea that could really honour your van.
