An unknown suspect(s) removed a screen from an open bathroom sliding glass window on Wednesday, April 29, on the 400 block of Meadows Avenue and entered a residence. On Saturday, May 2, between 11 a. m. and 1 p. m. on the 1800 block of Ninth Street, an unknown suspect entered an open garage and stole golf clubs and miscellaneous items. Officers responding to a report of a burglary in process found three local teens had entered a church to smoke marijuana on the 300 block of Peck Avenue on Monday, May 5, at 11:40 p. m. No theft occurred and the manager did not want to prosecute... On Saturday, May 2, at 9:30 p. m. officers responding to a report of a fight between two juveniles on the 700 block of 26th Street ended up arresting a parent who had responded to the altercation and charged the subject with public intoxication... officers responded along with the Manhattan Beach Fire Department to the report of a residential fire on Saturday, May 2, on the 4000 block of Ocean Drive. Then, on Sunday, May 3, at 4 p. m. at the intersection of 40th Street and Highland Avenue, the Manhattan Beach Fire Department responded to an underground electrical fire. On Tuesday, April 28, on the 900 block of Seventh Street, unknown suspect(s) used a victim’s credit card number to make unauthorized purchases.
