Interstate 75 in Monroe County blocked for head-on collision - Macon Telegraph (blog)
A portion of Interstate 75 in Monroe County was blocked for about an hour Saturday after an 81-year-old driver mistakenly entered a northbound entrance ramp, believing he was traveling southbound, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. The driver of the 1995 GMC Sierra 1500 pickup, John W. Joyner of Byron, struck a Honda Odyssey van head-on near mile marker 186 at about 3:50 p. m. , according to a sheriff’s office news release.
