National Corvette Museum Hosting Special Track X Events At Motorsports Park - GM Authority (blog)

The National Corvette Museum is now hosting weather-permitting, year-round events at its newly constructed Motorsports Park . This winter, a new “Track X” program will serve as the headline activity, giving participants an autocross-like racing... Like the different autocross events put on by the SCCA, Track X will have dedicated start to finish timing and coned gates to ensure drivers know exactly where the start and finish lines are. The best part about this event is the NCM has designated it as an open event with no classes. You may register for the event that morning between 8 a. m. and 9:15 a. m. at the NCM track. This being an open track day, there are some rules, many of which an autocross driver will be familiar with. If you’re under 18 you’ll need a guardian with you to sign your waiver release, and you’ll also need a racing helmet (the NCM has them available for rent for $25). Source: gmauthority.com
