Escaped inmate captured in Panola County - WDAM-TV

The escaped inmate, Jason Mazingo has been captured in Panola County and the stolen GMC Envoy has been recovered. Perry County Sheriff Jimmy Dale Smith gave credit to all of the agencies that help, including the Mississippi Bureau of Investigations, Mississippi Highway Patrol, U. S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force and other local agencies. The suspect, Jason Elliot Mazingo, ditched the 1985 Toyota he was driving when he escaped and has stolen an '03 white GMC Envoy from Paul B.
