3 shot, 1 killed at Fayetteville house party - Fayetteville Observer

About 12 hours earlier, this cul-de-sac at the intersection of Wagon Wheel and Old Farm Road had been the scene of a house party shooting, with one person dead and two others wounded. Leandre Jamarcus Laguerre, 25, of the 5700 block of Homestead Court, has been identified as the deceased, according to detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department. The injured victims are Clevaun Fratonne Breece, 21, of the 1100 block of Madonna Drive, and Kenneth Michael Burch, 24, of the 1100 block of Onslow Drive, authorities said. Breece was treated and released from Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Burch is listed in critical condition at Cape Fear Valley after requiring surgery, a news release said. The preliminary police investigation revealed "that several people" were in attendance at a party at 6010 Wagon Wheel Court, a news release said. Officer Antoine Kincaid, a spokesman for the police department, said Sunday evening that authorities didn't have a suspect in the case. Evans, who has lived in the cul-de-sac for three decades, said he was sleeping when he heard gunfire. Across the road, a neighbor was having a party, he said. The neighbor later told him that she had invited some close friends, but "some intruders" had shown up, he said. Source: www.fayobserver.com
