The driver of an SUV was taken to hospital after a crash caused by debris on the highway Tuesday. Emergency crews were called to a single-vehicle collision on Highway 5, just north of East Shuswap road, after 10 a. m. The driver in the GMC Envoy was heading northbound when a large green plastic garbage blew into the road.
