Open car trunk & doors alert police to man in stolen car - KRCRTV.COM
Chico police officers said a car with its doors and trunk open attracted their attention early Tuesday. According to a news release from Chico Police Department, Kevin Crone faces charges of possession of a stolen vehicle and providing false information to a police officer. The officer noticed a green 1998 Honda Civic parked at the corner of East 7th Avenue and Arbutus. The officer contacted Crone and upon further investigation, discovered the Honda was stolen from a county address in Chico. Police said Crone has been contacted by Chico Police in the past for weapons violations and possession of burglary tools. Source: www.krcrtv.com
