Driver critically injured in Pembroke crash - The Daily News Online

A 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe, being operated by Dixie Woodworth, 53, of Maple Ave. , Lyndonville, was northbound on Route 77 approaching the intersection of Indian Falls Road and Gabbey Road. A 2002 Honda four-door Accord, being operated bv Luis A. Martinezmorales, 22, of Mayer Avenue, Buffalo, was westbound on Indian Falls Road. Martinezmorales failed to stop at the stop sign and entered the intersection in front of Woodworth. The front of the Santa Fe struck the driver's door of the Accord. Both vehicles skidded off the west shoulder of Roule 77 north of Gabbey Road. He was transported by Mercy Flight to Erie County Medical Center. A front seat passenger in the Accord, Brian Ortiz-Guevara, 22, of Puerto Rico, sustained minor injuries. She was transported to ECMC by an ambulance from Darien Emergency Medical Service (DEMS). The Pembroke and Indian Falls Volunteer Fire Departments, along with medics from Mercy EMS and DEMS, assisted at the scene.
