One Injured in I-57 Crash - WSIL TV
FRANKLIN CO. -- Illinois State Police say one person was taken to the hospital after a crash on Interstate 57 Friday morning. Police say a black 2011 Hyundai Sonata was southbound in the right lane when a vehicle pulling a trailer merged onto the road from the right shoulder. The driver of the Durango, Samantha Mendenhall, 26, of West Frankfort, was taken to Franklin Hospital in Benton for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. West Frankfort Fire Department, West Frankfort Police Department, and the Franklin County Sheriff's Department also responded to the scene. Source: www.wsiltv.com
