Robeson County man killed in two-vehicle wreck Sunday night - Fayetteville Observer
The wreck happened at 10:58 p. m. about a mile east of St. Pauls, near Shaw Mill Road, according to a report filed by Trooper M. J. Miles. Don Oliver Hunt Jr. , 29, of the 1300 block of Pages Lake Road in St. Pauls, was traveling west at an estimated 100 mph when his 1992 Mazda crossed the center line, the report said. Hunt pulled the Mazda back onto the road and it collided with a 1998 Honda. The driver of the Honda ran away, said N. C. Highway Patrol Sgt. The speed limit is 55 mph, Hilburn said. Hunt, who was not wearing a seat belt, was traveling about 80 mph at impact, Miles' report said. Source: www.fayobserver.com
