More HiLux interior pics, details - Motoring

Toyota has today issued new images of the cabin for the next-generation HiLux due to go on sale in Australia from October. According to Toyota, the new HiLux will be internally larger than the model it replaces, providing more headroom and shoulder room in front. Seat comfort is enhanced too, with a larger range of height adjustment, and the driver is seated behind a wheel adjustable for reach and rake. Extra-cab and dual-cab variants gain more rear-seat kneeroom, with SR and SR5 dual-cab models featuring a 60:40 split-folding seat in the rear and a stowable armrest. The display is a touch screen that is considerably larger than the superseded model's infotainment display, and is within easy reach of both the driver and the front passenger, Toyota claims. SR models are equipped with just two speakers in single-cab variants, four in extra-cab variants and six in dual cabs. Similarly the HiLux SR5 extra-cab models pipe sound through four speakers, but the dual-cab HiLux SR5 comes with six speakers and digital radio (DAB+). Additionally, the flagship (SR5 dual-cab) HiLux variants are equipped with a seven-inch touch screen and Toyota Link, a connected mobility system for Pandora users. Source: www.motoring.com.au
