Around 3:30a. m this morning Officers from the Cortland County Sheriff. s Office arrested 23-year-old Jamie Townsend. Officers followed the red 2000 GMC Sonoma, east on Route 41. Officers engaged the vehicle in the Town of Cincinnatus and the vehicle refused to stop. The Sonoma then turned right onto Dutch Hill Road, where the vehicle was stopped by Officers. Townsend was charged with unlawful fleeing a Police Officer, reckless driving, failure to use turning signals, inadequate headlights, refused to keep right and five speeding violations.
