2015 Chevy Silverado Custom offers V8 or V6 power - SlashGear

Chevrolet has unveiled a new version of the 2015 Silverado truck that is aimed at bringing some value back to the new truck market. Chevy has unveiled the 2015 Silverado Custom as a way to get "back to basics, with style" for truck buyers. The Silverado Custom starts at $33,820 for a well-equipped double-cab truck with a V8 engine under the hood. The Custom is based on the Chevy double-cab Silverado LS and adds 20-inch aluminum wheels, chrome bumpers, body-color top cap above the front bumper, chrome mirror caps, and chrome door handles. The truck has a 5. 3L EcoTec V8 rated at 355hp and promising the best fuel economy of any V8 truck. A V8 equipped 4x4 version of the truck will start at $37,800.
