Police: Riverhead Man Arrested For Stealing Car, Using Stolen Credit Cards - Patch.com
The victim reported her 2001 Chevrolet Silverado stolen from Handy Pantry in Mastic Beach to the Suffolk County Police earlier that day, police said. After being advised from her bank that her credit cards which were left in the car were being used in the area, the victim came to Riverhead to find her car when she found it parked at the 7-Eleven store, according to police. A man exited the store and attempted to enter the stolen truck when he was detained by the victim’s son and a bystander until police arrived, according to police. Source: patch.com
