2013 Acura TSX Sport Wagon Tech review notes - AutoWeek

ASSOCIATE EDITOR GRAHAM KOZAK: Throw a bunch of car guys a wagon of any sort and its no secret that they'll rave about the practicality, versatility, sensibility, etc. So, too, with the 2013 Acura TSX Sport Wagon. As indifferent as I generally am to Acura's current offerings, I couldn't help but like the pleasing appearance and impressive cargo room of this long roof. But there are a few other wagons out there, and I'm not sure what Acura is doing to make this vehicle stand out in a rather skimpy field of competitors. Load it up with a family of four and luggage, and maybe throw a few bikes on the roof, however, and you may want a bit more. Seats did not offer the infinite range of adjustability we've almost come to expect in everything but bare-bones vehicles, but they were supportive for the hour-long periods I was behind the wheel. Acura is really missing out with its busy center console. Sure, you get used to it, but the company could make a statement here rather than borrowing from the Honda bin. The Toyota Avalon, of all cars, might serve as a good example for Acura stylists to learn from…though something tells me keeping the infotainment system in the family has more to do with cost-cutting that the ability of Acura's designers. I think this, along with its TSX sedan counterpart, is one of the best-proportioned Acuras offered. All this despite not seeing styling refresh in a few years. Source: autoweek.com
