Chief: 'Great community help' leads to arrest in Chapin bank robbery - WIS

An arrest has been made in connection with a Thursday bank robbery in Chapin. Chapin Police Chief Troy Crump said "great community help" and good police work led to the arrest of Lisa Cashatt. She has been charged with armed robbery and two counts of kidnapping. Police were searching for an armed woman who was wearing a black hat and ghost-like white mask when she robbed the TD Bank on Columbia Ave. Crump said after the teller handed her money, she left the bank and got into a white 4-door 2007 or 2008 Acura TL and headed towards I-26. Based on information provided from the public, authorities were able to locate the vehicle and make an arrest. Source: www.wistv.com
