Marietta Man Charged In 4-Vehicle Crash - Patch.com

Photo credit: Sandy Springs Police . A Marietta man involved in a four-vehicle accident late last month in Sandy Springs has been charged in connection to the incident. Sandy Springs police arrested and charged Christopher Lee Massie, 29, in the June 26 accident in the 6800 block of Roswell Road. Police received a call around 5:18 p. m. of a four-vehicle accident on Roswell Road just north of Abernathy Road. Bohannon stated the wreck left one driver in critical condition and shut down Roswell Road for several hours during the Friday evening rush hour. According to an accident investigation report released by the agency, Massie, who was driving a 1995 Dodge Dakota, said he ”had just left the Goodwill on Roswell Road” and was traveling northbound when the accident occurred. The driver of the second vehicle, James Michael Wazlavek, was traveling northbound on Roswell Road in a 1998 Acura SLX and was getting into the center lane to make a left turn into 6800 Roswell Road when the Dodge “slid past his vehicle,” hit his...
