2016 Acura NSX Spotted on California Freeway - Automobile

Behind the driver and passenger seats, a twin-turbo V-6 sends power to the rear wheels by way of a nine-speed dual-clutch automatic. one is at each front wheel to provide torque-vectoring all-wheel drive, while the third is inside the transaxle for further electric assistance. Total system output is expected to be north of 550 hp. The 2016 Acura NSX is made from aluminum, high-strength steel, and carbon fiber, which should keep weight low despite the battery pack, motors, twin-turbo engine, and dual-clutch transaxle. Acura says the car will have a 43/57 front/rear weight balance, which is even better than the original NSX's balance. Source: www.automobilemag.com
