Imagining the new Q5 is actually not that hard as it will be one of the last models designed before Marc Lichte took over as the man in charge of Audi's styling department, so we expect the crossover to continue with the evolutionary styling. As a consequence, don't be too surprised if the new Q5 will look a lot like a downsize Q7, as speculatively rendered in the attached illustration. I've read in a few sources that Marc Lichte arrived too late to influence the design of the new TT, Q7 and A4. But there wasn't any mention of any other models, which is a shame because the A5 and Q5 look to be following the same incrementally... As fond of Audis as I am, I'm getting more and more disappointed that Lichte is hiding his talent for the A8/A7/A6 trio and the Q8 from 2016 onwards. Source: www.worldcarfans.com
