Witness testimony in a probable cause hearing for a Vacaville man accused of a 2014 stabbing death is set to resume Oct. Nodine, 20, is accused of the July 31, 2014, stabbing death of Aurelio Pena-Lemus, a 22-year-old Vacaville resident. Mark Ferreira previously testified that a jailhouse informant came forward with information about Nodine. Nodine allegedly told the inmate that two rival gang members had approached him that night, and as one of the men attempted to hit him, Nodine pulled out a knife and stabbed him, Ferreira testified.
