THV11 Movie Review: The Transporter Refueled - THV 11

Unfortunately, the timing didn't work out so I had to change plans and review The Transporter Refueled. Frank Martin is The Transporter (a character that made Jason Statham an action hero now played by Ed Skrein), a driver-for-hire who is very skilled at driving an Audi S8, beating people up, and getting his cargo to its destination on time. I don't know where to start with this movie. The majority of The Transporter Refueled is a commercial for the Audi S8, with its 520 horsepower, 4. 0L V8 engine, starting at $114,000, available in 11 different colors. When it's not a commercial, the film focuses on our main character beating someone up. These scenes are not exciting, not interesting, and don't show us anything we haven't seen before. That's a noble goal but her methods are questionable as her handler doesn't seem to know where she is at all times and doesn't seem to care that she's disappeared long enough to start pulling off her plan. The movie builds up a plot line indicating a past between our hero and the antagonist but when they meet we get a "hey, I remember you" instead of some reason for their (assumed) dislike for each other. For some reason, the beginning of the movie starts with our villain killing a group of gangsters to establish himself as the new man in charge. Source: www.thv11.com
