Yesterday, survivor Michael Sturgess said he was in the car on Saturday with his child Louis, who was looking behind at the time of the fatal crash and " saw it all happen". He said "someone was looking down" on them after Mr Abrahams let them onto the road - and was then held back at traffic lights, resulting in him being hit by the plane shortly after. Mr Sturgess told BBC Radio 5 Live: "I came onto the A27 and then he let me in because the traffic was so bad. We went through the traffic lights, the traffic lights went red, and that's when he got hit. "And as I went around the bend, the plane came down and he saw everything, my eight-year-old Louis. (I am) very sad - someone was looking down at us. ". Meanwhile, a 4x4 driver has told how he was the last person to escape alive from the Shoreham air inferno , saying: "Two seconds later and it would have been me in there. In a dramatic account, he told how he jumped from his moving BMW X3 after the 1950s Hawker Hunter jet crashed on to the A27 in West Sussex amid a fireball. The disaster happened at 1. 20pm on Saturday during the Shoreham Airshow when the vintage jet plummeted on to the road after failing to pull out of a loop-the-loop stunt. Source: www.telegraph.co.uk
