BMW Australia has added a host of new standard features to its 3 Series range this week as it moves to combat the rampant Mercedes-Benz C-Class . Comfortably wrapping up 2014 as Australia’s most popular midsized prestige car , the C-Class also... A key upgrade for enthusiasts is the addition of BMW’s Adaptive M Suspension set as standard equipment on all models up from the 320i and 320d grades in the sedan and GT bodies, and from the 318d grade in the wagon. BMW has also given the range a styling upgrade, with Sport and Luxury trim packages available for the 316i sedan, 318d wagon, 320i sedan/wagon/GT and 320d sedan/GT at no extra cost. The upgrade sees the ‘Modern’ trim package dropped from the range, while the 335i hero and extra-green ActiveHybrid 3 can be had with the M Sport or Luxury packages at no cost. Bi-Xenon lights are now standard across the range, and alloy wheel choices for all models now range from 17- to 19-inch in size.
