Our recent spy video provided a closer look at the next-generation BMW 5 Series than the spy pics we published nearly two years ago . But since the spy video, new photos have emerged of the upcoming model, due next year, in what appears to be... No doubt taking a design lead from the striking Pininfarina-designed Gran Lusso concept, the next 5 Series will follow in the new 7 Series' footsteps (due in October) by employing extensive CFRP material in its production processes. In addition to the structure, it is believed items such as the roof, bonnet, boot lid and door skins will be constructed in CFRP, significantly reducing overall weight when compared to the ageing current vehicle, last refreshed in mid-2013 but... au attends new vehicle launches at the invitation and expense of vehicle manufacturers and/or distributors.
