All Wheels Weekend rolls out its 21st annual Dayton show - Walla Walla Union-Bulletin

As Father’s Day weekend approaches, car show fans can bank on Dayton’s annual All Wheels Weekend as sure as they can sing the words to “Little Deuce Coupe. With the Friday to Saturday car-a-palooza now its 21st year, fans who have attended in the past also know the weekend promises much more than four-wheeled treasures. Alongside All Wheels’ anchor Show-n-Shine car display Saturday on Main Street are a variety of other activities and attractions automobile enthusiasts of all ages will enjoy. Fan favorites include the Classic Cruise Friday night and lawn dragster races, the demolition derby and men’s “drag” races, where men in drag race tricycles down Main Street, all on Saturday. Bette Loue Crothers, event founder and chairwoman, said attendees have told her year after year that All Wheels is their favorite car show. Rides in the speeder cars at the train depot on Saturday have always been a favorite, Crothers said, but this year will also feature street performers, including a magician on stilts, face painting and bounce houses.
