Vittore died Saturday at Upstate University Hospital from injuries he suffered when he was hit by a car on Second Street in the village of Liverpool. Vittore was walking in the westbound lane of the 400 block of Second Street around 1:35 a. m. , when he was struck by a 2003 Cadillac Deville, also heading west, Onondaga County Sheriff's Detective Jon Seeber said. NOVA ambulance rushed Vittore to Upstate University Hospital, where Vittore died the next day. Neither the driver of the Cadillac, 70-year-old Dean Cubic, or his passenger, 56-year-old Sharon Hennessy, both of Liverpool, were injured. Source: www.syracuse.com
