When Billie Jo Carr offered to accompany Charles Ziegler to the dentist on that fateful Thursday morning, all she knew was that her close friend had a toothache . What she did not know was that on the five-minute drive from her Pompano Beach home... As soon as Ziegler shoved his white Lexus into park, Carr said, "The bullets were flying. "The only thing that saved me was God and Charles pushing me out the car door," said Carr, who is 79.
