1 dead in Albertville collision - KARE
The four vehicles involved include a Chevrolet HHR, a Cadillac VLU, a Hyundai EGM and a Hyundai Elantra. Erin Bateman was a passenger in the Elantra along with 62-year-old Frieda Bateman of Winnipeg, Manitoba, and 10-year-old Elizabeth K. Sabourin. Bateman, 63, also of Winnipeg, was the driver of that vehicle, according to the State Patrol. Sabourin suffered serious injuries while Frieda and Douglas Bateman suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Elizabeth K. Kulla, 30, of Fergus Falls, was the driver of the HHR, the State Patrol says. He suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening. According to a release from the Minnesota State Patrol, the collision occurred as all four vehicles were traveling east on Interstate Highway 94 at County Road 19 in Albertville.
