Farmington PD revives man who crashed into pole - Detroit Free Press

Farmington Hills police say they brought a Clinton Township man back to life after he crashed his car while having a heart attack early on Monday morning. The police first got a report about the crash near Orchard Lake and I-696 at around 6:10 a. m. They arrived to find a driver, 40, slumped over the wheel of a 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer, which had slammed against a pole. They put the car into park to stop the wheels, discovered the man’s heart had stopped, and began performing CPR. They then tried two shocks from a defibrillator, and soon discovered that the man was breathing on his own again. The man was taken to Beaumont Hospital in Farmington Hills, formerly Botsford.
