State Police Investigating Collision Northbound on I-87 - Hudson Valley News Network
Tuxedo, NY – On September 1, 2015 at approximately 3:16 p. m. , State Police responded to the report of a collision on I-87 between a vehicle and a motorcycle. State Police report the operator of the motorcycle sustained a leg and minor head injury and was airlifted to the hospital. Police investigation revealed the operator of a 2006 Suzuki motorcycle, Jason Vanterpool, 37 of Yonkers, NY struck the rear of a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer, continued northbound then striking the rear of a 2016 Subaru, and was then ejected from... Vanterpool was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Chevrolet Trailblazer, Ada L.
