Someone caused approximately $700 damage to a 2002 Dodge Dakota parked in the 100 block of South Hillside Drive in Wheeler around Aug. Knock-knock dent Two Old Town kayaks were stolen from the shoulder of Interstate 94 on Aug. The carrier failed while traveling eastbound, causing the kayaks to fall off and land on the shoulder between Exit 41 and Exit 32 in theTown of Menomonie. While attempting to circle around and retrieve the kayaks, the owner spotted a mid-1990s Chevy Tahoe pulling a horse trailer that had stopped and was loading up the Kayaks. The owner was traveling westbound at the time and honked his horn numerous times, but by the time he reached the location where the kayaks were, they were gone and the carrier was still there.
