Woman seriously injured, cited after crash Wednesday - Daily Journal Online

A Farmington woman was seriously injured Wednesday afternoon at 12:30 p. m. in a one vehicle crash off Colony Church Road at Route EE in St. Francois County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, 25-year-old Cynthia Black was traveling eastbound on Route EE in her 1994 Chevrolet Cavalier when she ran off Route EE onto southbound Colony Church Road, ran off the left side of the roadway,... Black was not wearing her seat belt and was airlifted by Survival Flight to Mercy Creve Coeur with serious injuries. A Farmington man received minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident involving a semi truck that took place at 6:40 a. m. Wednesday on northbound U. S. 29, seven miles north of St. Joseph in Andrew County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the accident occurred when a northbound 2013 Freightliner driven by Richard M. Stiens, 33, of Arnold, traveled off the eastside of the road and struck a tree line at the 57-mile marker. An occupant in the truck, Justin P. Bahr, 26, of Farmington, was transported by Andrew County EMS to Mosaic Life Care where he was treated for minor injuries. Both men were reportedly wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.
