Andrew Cantu was found guilty in the April 6, 2006, death of Tanguma, also 23, who was struck by a Chevrolet Suburban after an argument turned violent in a billiards hall parking lot in the 4900 block of Ayers Street. After closing arguments, 319th District Judge Tom Greenwell found Cantu guilty of murder and two counts of aggravated assault. life in prison for murder and 20 years on each of the aggravated assault charges.
