Driver will be ticketed following Del. 1 crash north of Smyrna - The News Journal
A Philadelphia man will be ticketed for careless driving and not wearing a seat belt after his car overturned along Del. 1 Saturday afternoon and closed the roadway, state police said. The crash, reported at about 3:18 p. m. , occurred when the driver of a 2007 Chevrolet Impala traveling northbound lost control of the car, swerving off the left-hand side of Del. As driver Robert Balderman, of Philadelphia, attempted to regain control of the car, it swerved eastbound across the northbound lanes and overturned, Bratz said. Balderman was trapped in the car, but uninjured, Bratz said. Balderman will be ticketed for careless driving and not wearing a seat belt, Bratz said. Source: www.delawareonline.com
