Description: This GENUINE Allison DEEP pan is the same pan that Allison uses on medium duty fleet and heavy duty OEM vehicle applications. This Allison DEEP pan will allow an additional 3.5 quarts of transmission fluid to be added to your system. High capacity pans help your transmission run cooler which in turn helps your transmission perform better and last longer. This is especially important when you add the extra stress of towing and or bumping up the horsepower with performance add-ons. This DEEP pan will also help extend the fluid service life, the additional fluid shares the same work load making the fluid able to live longer under the same conditions. The Allison deep pan is 1" deeper than your stock pan measuring 4.5" thick overall and will not hang below the vehicles frame rails. This is one of the most cost effective add-ons you can do to extend the life of your transmission, a must if you are towing frequently, or running with additional horsepower. Kit comes complete with GENUINE Allison Deep Pan, GENUINE Allison (New Version) Deep Internal Filter, and GENUINE Allison External Spin-on Filter. Make sure to re-use the magnet located in the top of your spin on filter, do not throw the magnet away by accident. The factory pan gasket is re-useable and you will need to re-use your factory drain plug as well. Genuine Allison replacement pan gaskets and drain plugs are also available for an additional cost.
