Car Doctor: Mazda 6's one-time loss of power is difficult to diagnose - The Providence Journal

I was driving approximately 30 mph on a back road when suddenly the car lost power. I slowed the car to the side of the road, put the transmission into park and turned off the ignition. I then turned the key to start the car and it started right up again. With all the talk about the possibility of cars being hacked, could that be a possibility. This is the first and only time this has happened and the car has had no previous issues and up to now is the best car that I have ever owned. Regarding the issue of hacking, although it is possible with some cars (generally the car needs to be connected to the Internet with its own IP address) in my opinion this is not possible with your car. I have a 2011 Honda CRV and the mileage is 94,000. On several occasions the dealership has recommended power flushing the power steering fluids. The owner's manual makes no mention of any scheduled interval for changing power steering fluids and I don't recall changing these fluids on any other car. I’m a big believer in following the advice in the vehicle owner’s manual. Since your manual doesn’t have an interval for changing the power steering fluid, does that mean this service never needs to. These spy shots are the clearest photos yet of Nissan’s big pickup. have already confirmed that a new Cummins-built 5. 0-liter turbodiesel V-8 will be an optional engine in the redesigned Titan. The styling of the second-gen Titan appears to borrow liberally from the Ram playbook, with larger headlights placed lower down on the front fenders, big-rig style and a much larger grille. The 2016 Titan is scheduled to arrive late next year. The new Titan arrives just as Ford will be hitting its stride with the new F-150. If cheap fuel prices last until the Titan arrives, that could give the truck a boost. Earlier this year, Fred Diaz jumped from Chrysler, where he headed Ram, to Nissan as the Japanese automaker’s senior vice president for sales, marketing and operations. Diaz, in a visit to Automotive News in February, said he requested a few changes to the next Titan and said he believes the truck will be competitive with domestic models. Source: www.autonews.com
