Teen killed when car slams into ditch - WWL

THIBODAUX, La. - A Larose teenager was killed early this morning after his car struck a ditch near Thibodaux and he was ejected, State Police said. Cody Duet, 19, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Lafourche Parish Coroner's Office, Trooper First Class Evan Harrell said. Troopers began investigating the crash just before 2:30 a. m. Harrell said Duet, who was not wearing a seat belt, was driving a 2010 Lexus IS 250 south on La. 308, just north of the St. Charles Bypass Road.
