Fiat Chrysler Automobiles’ sales increased 2 percent with the help of Ram... “Improved availability helped make August the strongest sales month this year for F-Series,” Mark LaNeve, Ford’s head of U. S. sales, said in a statement. Lee's Summit man faces criminal charges after high-speed chase - Kansas City Star

Jackson County prosecutors have filed charges against a 39-year-old man accused of ramming his vehicle into an Independence police car before leading police on a high-speed chase that ended in Kansas City, Kan. Madden of Lee’s Summit faces charges of vehicle tampering and resisting arrest in connection with the incident that began just after 9 a. m. Tuesday in Independence. According to court records, Kansas City police officers in an unmarked car alerted Independence police that they were following a Ford F-350 that had been reported stolen out of Prairie Village. Independence police tried to block the truck from leaving, but Madden’s truck rammed a patrol car and a parked car before speeding away. Independence police followed him into Kansas City and across Interstate 70 into Kansas City, Kan. Madden eventually sped south on Interstate 635 and north on Interstate 35, exiting at Southwest Boulevard. Madden drove into a wooded area and fled the truck. Sinelli Concrete, which also did business as Sinelli Sand and Gravel, was located at 12719 Beech Daly Road. “Sinelli was an institution in Redford Township for decades and is missed,” Redford Community Development Director Mike Dennis said. The auction includes: four Phoenix Glider Concrete Trucks (ranging from 2003-2006), nine Advance Mixer Concrete Trucks (ranging from 1990-1998), a 2000 Caterpillar 93G Wheel loader, a Tenant 275 Sweeper, a 2000 Ford F-350 Super Duty 4x4 Service... “The building, grounds and equipment have been for sale for the past few years, of course with no buyers,” Dennis said. “Hopefully, a new owner will purchase the business and property and resurrect this local business,” he said. The Sinellis completed some major capital improvements to the building and grounds in the early to mid-2000s, he said.
